Get specific in your thank you notes
We keep our thank you note tips going with two more tips.
Tip 4. Use quotes from beneficiaries to convey impact. Couple stats with a heartfelt “when I got my glasses, I got to see my daughter clearly for the first time!” Statistics are excellent in sharing impact, but don’t forget to include the human element in your impact story.
Tip 5. Spotlight THEM! Center your language around your donors to remind them of the heroes they are. Instead of “We fed 50 students” or “15 dogs now have homes,” try “Because of you, 50 students had healthy lunches,” or “Your generosity helped 15 dogs find their forever homes.” Center your language around your donors to remind them of the heroes they are.
